My name is Nithik and I am a high school student passionate about CS, AI, Robotics, and the environment. I currently am a part of a FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Team and I enjoy looking for ways to leverage technology to help environments, nonprofits, and businesses. I am studying AI because I want to explore its impact on solving issues we are currently struggling with and make things easier overall.
I had a great time as an Inspirit AI Scholar and I gained a lot of insight into actually working with AI. My project mentor was Maya Verma, and I worked on the DNA Detectives project where I learned to leverage AI in order to identify the countries from which different Sars-Cov-2 genomes originate from.
For this blog, I will be writing about the Application of Artificial Intelligence to the Environment. Each blog will be focused on a different Artificial Intelligence technology that helps counter different environmental issues occurring throughout the world.
Through my blog, I hope to reach individuals passionate about countering environmental issues.
I hope to find inspiration myself for potential projects that I can partake in for the betterment of the environment through my research on the various applications of Artificial Intelligence being leveraged for the environment.
